NET Team

Clarence Baltrusaitis

When he isn’t walking around downtown Scranton with a microphone in his hand, Clarence is found at either of the NET Credit Union branches diligently working, or out in the community building relationships.  He has been in the Credit Union industry for 11 years now, citing the one distinct advantage of his job as the ability to help people.  “It is great to work in an industry that was founded on cooperation. It’s about people helping people,” and he is proud that his employees echo the same sentiment. Because of the many delightful restaurants NEPA has to offer, Clarence’s favorite local restaurants come down to Casa Bella and Carl Von Luger Steak House. During his time-off, Clarence is fond of spending time at his children’s athletic events at Lackawanna Trail High School, or with the Impact Panthers Softball Team and all of their parents. At home, he enjoys watching movies, his favorite being “The Outlaw Josey Wales”, fishing with his children, and enjoying a country lifestyle. Clarence was raised in Tunkhannock; therefore, he loves every aspect of Northeastern Pennsylvania. “The changing of seasons, mountains, fishing, and family is what I value most in NEPA,” states Clarence.  Clarence is the heart and soul of NET Credit Union and we are honored to have him as an employee!

Mileise Allegrucci

Vice President of Member Experience

Born and raised in NEPA, Mileise admires the numerous local parks and lakes the area has to offer. Not only is she a fan of our local recreation, but she also loves how NEPA is nestled between the great cities of New York and Philadelphia. Because her job as NET Credit Union’s Marketing Director causes her to be on the run most of the time, Mileise enjoys stopping at Wegman’s to grab takeout. She also loves the delicious restaurants of Scranton’s downtown area such as City Café, Vine and Bar Pazzo, which she frequently stops at after her workout at Steamtown Hot Yoga! Mileise states, “Laura and Yanni are incredible people with an incredible business! I always feel great when I leave even if I didn’t have the best practice. My favorite part is using the cold lavender washcloth at the end, it’s so relaxing!” This fitness fanatic also enjoys working out at Chiseled Fitness in Pittston. She states, “Ashley, the owner, is great at pushing me during her classes so that I finish with a chiseled body!”

Mileise’s favorite part about working at NET Credit Union is helping people change their lives! She enjoys going to speak to our local business groups, our Preferred Partner Groups, to educate the community about their personal finances. Hearing feedback from the attendees is empowering to Mileise because they share personal stories on how NET Credit Union has positively impacted their lives financially. “Hearing personal stories, whether it be raising their credit score so they can buy their first home, lowering their interest rates to save them hundreds so they can finally go on vacation or just putting a plan together to get them out of debt really empowers me to keep working hard,” expresses Mileise. She is also a proud member of NET’s Philanthropy Team, which she decides where we can donate thousands of dollars. Having resources to help people is a great feeling for her!

When she isn’t busy at her job or working out, Mileise enjoys relaxing at home with her cherished dogs Ruby, a Puggle, and Iris, a Cane Corso Italian Mastiff, who are more like children to her than animals. In her free time, this fashionista enjoys binge watching TV series and documentaries on Netflix and Amazon Prime, especially her favorite, Girls, from HBO & Tony Robbins: I Am Not Your Guru. Mileise is a great asset to the NET Team!

Mary Lynn Gaetano

Operations Support Manager

Mary Lynn’s favorite part about being NET Credit Union’s Operations Support Manager is her co-workers. “I love the people that I work with, and I also enjoy having the ability to help others,” states Mary Lynn. When she isn’t running back and forth helping both branches of NET Credit Union, Mary Lynn is an avid runner around NEPA. After a long work day, she loves heading over to her favorite local restaurant, Casa Bella for a delicious dinner. In her spare time, Mary Lynn is usually found shopping around at Marshall’s or relaxing at home watching her favorite classic film, Pride and Prejudice. On weekends, Mary Lynn likes going to downtown Scranton’s renowned bar, Backyard Ale House. NEPA is praised for many positive aspects, but Mary Lynn’s favorite part about living and working here is the community involvement in our area. Without Mary Lynn, NET Credit Union wouldn’t run as smoothly as it does!

Marc Michalowski

Vice President of IS&T

Marc is our Director of Information Systems and Technology, IS&T for short. His favorite part of working and living in NEPA is the fall season, local sports and being only two hours away from major cities. Another perk Marc enjoys about our area is the Lackawanna Heritage Trail. Marc enjoys going for dinner at Kyoto, stopping for a drink at Backyard Ale House in Downtown Scranton or shopping at his favorite store, Lowes. At home, he likes watching “National Treasure,” “Big Bang Theory” and all the sports he could with his two pet cats, Maxwell and Uncle Roger. Marc enjoys working with NET’s great team and is excited to be able to develop and deploy innovative solutions for both members and staff!

Janelle Ann Kaczmarek

Janelle Kaczmarek, NET Credit Union’s CFO, works diligently to help oversee the financials. Even though she is sometimes referred to as the “CFNo”, Janelle never denies helping others, leading NET to more growth and development. “The fact that we help people join the credit union and then make their lives better is my favorite part of my job,” expresses Janelle. Not only is she grateful for the loyal members, but she considers her coworkers as family since she is with them longer in a day than her own! If she is in the mood for pizza, Janelle heads over to Norm’s in Wilkes-Barre, but if she wants hibachi, then she likes to go to Osaka in downtown Scranton. In her free time after a long work week at NET, Janelle likes to go to her favorite local bar, The Tomato Bar in Pittston for a drink. Her favorite stores include Tj Maxx and Pet Co. At a minimum of twice a day, Janelle gets plenty of exercise walking her 6 year old rescued Miniature Schnauzer, Sophie. Janelle may call the shots at NET, but Sophie calls the shots at home. In her free time, she enjoys watching the comedy hit series, Modern Family, and the movie Big Chill.

Having her family reside in NEPA as well is what Janelle adores most about living here. The close proximity to the bigger cities is also a plus for her since her favorite past time is traveling! While embarking on different travels, Janelle loves to listen to Willie Nelson’s classic hit, “On the Road Again.” Janelle may specialize in the finance department, but her positive, supportive personality is appreciated by all of the NET employees!

Maria enjoys a nice dinner at Scranton’s notorious Italian restaurant, Casa Bella. Sanderson Street Tavern is her favorite local bar where she likes to unwind at after a long work week.
